So we're sitting at the dinner table eating pizza and Madeline announces. . .
"The mushrooms are kicking"...
And Mike and look at each other and it takes a minute to register what she is talking about...we have been talking a lot lately about the baby in mommy's tummy and asking Maddie what's in her tummy and she always responds "food!" or whatever she has just eaten (ie. "crackers!" or "pizza!"). Well, the pizza we were eating had mushrooms on it and since the baby in mommy's tummy kicks, I guess Maddie just figured that the mushrooms in her tummy would kick too! Too cute.
