Several months ago Grant walked up to me and said "nigh nigh", and being the proud mommy that I am I got all excited that Grant was such a good little boy he was telling me he wanted to go to bed. Well, after a while I finally figured out that "nigh nigh" means: paci, lovey, or blankey (usually paci) ... basically anything that is kept in his bed - ha! He runs around yelling "nigh nigh" and will even get into his crib and lay there just so he can have his "nigh nigh" (he's only allowed to have the paci at bed time).
Grant is babbling all the time now and says some words like: hat, nose, mama (finally!), dada, ma-ma (Maddie), cheese, juice, nana (banana), shoes, ball, and apple
