Well, it finally happened...yes, that's right, I turned the big 3-0. It actually wasn't that bad. Just like any other birthday, although now I cringe at the thought that my next "big" birthday is 40. Yikes. In any event, to celebrate Mike took me out for dinner and brought me gorgeous flowers. Then, I flew to San Francisco to meet my mom, sister, and SIL for a jam-packed weekend of birthday fun. Our itinerary included... shopping and more shopping, facials, a visit to the Legion of Honor to see the Cartier and America exhibit, lunch at NM, dinner at Zuni (see below - with my friend and college roomie Michelle who lives in SF), and of course a show - Wicked. Let me just say that I now need a vacation from my vacation - since we packed so much in to 2 days! Good thing my mom planned out the itinerary in advance and had several maps so we would't get lost and off schedule!
