This was the scene at our house on Memorial Day as the existing floors in the kitchen and sunroom were ripped up and the new hardwoods were installed. They had to rip up some of the hardwood we already have (and just had refinished when we moved in!) so that they could integrate the new floors in with the old. The new floors have to settle for a few weeks before they will be sanded and stained to match the existing hardwood floors. There is dust everywhere!!
