These pumpkins are heavy!
There's a new sheriff in town!
I tried (unsuccessfully) to get a cute picture of Maddie on the pumpkin pile...of ocurse she just climbed all over it and would not sit still...and when she did she did not want to smile for the camera.

Our October weekends were already mostly filled up with activities so we decided to make our annual trip to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch a little earlier than usual this year (not to mention Maddie has been talking about Halloween for a few months now and has already picked out her costume). We love this pumpkin patch - there is tons of fun stuff to do (including bounce houses, farm animals, face painting, hay rides, etc etc) and it is well worth the 45 minute drive to get there. Madeline enjoyed all of the kid activities and dad and mom enjoyed the Texas BBQ! Grant slept through the whole trip - but next year he will be big enough to enjoy it too. PS. It was 90 degrees outside...perfect Texas pumpkin patch weather!!

Oh how fun! I must look it up! We live right next to the arboretum, so we normaly go there.
what a fun day!! she is adorable! makes me want to go to a real pumpkin patch, too! :-)
