We have had the same bedtime routine with Maddie since she was about a year old. She absolutely cannot go to sleep without every aspect of the routine being fullfilled. It goes like this: jammies, brush teeth, bedtime story, 2 songs and then hugs, kisses and tuck in. Madeline always gets to pick the book and the songs. Needless to say I've developed quite the song repetoire over the past 2.5 years. Here are some of the most frequently requested:
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer (no, it does not matter what time of year it is)
Here Comes Santa Claus (see above)
Amazing Grace
This Little Light of Mine
Jesus Loves Me
Somewhere Over the Rainbow
You Are My Sunshine
He's Got the Whole World In His Hands
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Away in a Manger (again, a year-round request)
Dora Dora Dora the Explorer (the theme song from Dora the Explorer - I pretty much make up the words as I go on this one)
Elmo's Song (the Elmo theme song)
Night Night Maddie
Under the Sea (from the Little Mermaid)
Bippity Boppity Boo (from Cinderella)
When You Wish Upon a Star (Disney)
And then of course there are the songs I bust on/around holidays...
Easter - Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail
Halloween - 10 Little Pumpkins
Thanksgiving - There Are Many Things I Am Thankful For
Madeline knows the words to most if not all of these songs, but she doesn't usually sing along - only sometimes. In any event, I'm sure no one really cares about this except me ... but I thought I should write them down so I don't forget!
Happy Fourth of July!!

Ok, I want a song everyday of the week at the office until your set is sung!
