We finally made the transition to big boy bed last week. Mike and I had been procrastinating moving Grant from the crib to the twin bed b/c we had a feeling it would be a difficult process (for us at least!). But Grant made the switch like a champ. He really only got out of bed the first night but since then has been pretty good about staying in bed when we put him there. The only downside is that the moment he wakes up in the morning (6:30/7:00am) he gets up and comes to wake us up (I guess the term "sleeping in" doesn't have much meaning to a busy 2 year old).
And now, for the first time in 4 and half years, there is no longer a crib - or high chair - in our house (sad face).
