National Neighbors Night Out

Last night was National Night Out. Our neighborhood had an ice cream social - the local fire department brought by an engine for the kids to check out. They also brought an ambulance, police car, and SWAT truck (SWAT was new this year...all the dads/men were having their photo taken in front of it - which was pretty comical). Needless to say - Grant was in HEAVEN, as he is obsessed with all things transportation. It was also a perfect tie in to the "fire safety week" at Madeline's school this week (which she has been talking about non-stop).

Madeline announced she was "going to stand like a flamingo" for this picture - our Madster is such a sweet, happy, and silly little girl!
