Yesterday was my birthday. It was a wonderful day spent with my beautiful children and wonderful husband. My dear friend, A., gave me a very generous gift...her time...and came over to watch Madeline and Grant while Mike and I went out on a date. It was a lovely evening. A. also made me (from scratch!) the most adorable birthday cake. Red velvet - yummy! My favorite. You can check out some of her other delicious confectionery creations HERE.
